Green Card Voices invites you to our inaugural Becoming Neighbors event which will be held on Thursday, Sept 18, 2025 at the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis from 6:00 – 8:30 pm.

After hosting traditional galas for 10 years, last year Green Card Voices decided to do something different and celebrated our mission by bringing communities together through the power of STORYTELLING! We had an amazing event, and we’re excited to return this unique experience in 2025.

This unique and powerful event will include:

• Interactive Storytelling: Engage in Story Stitch, a meaningful and interactive card game designed to spark real dialogue in intimate circles of eight, including immigrants from over 30 countries.

• Inspiring Program: Discover stories that broaden your sense of community, build empathy, and highlight the richness of diversity in our everyday lives.

• Cultural Connections: Share a culturally-inspired meal with 150 guests, connect in a welcoming space, and form new relationships to truly become neighbors.

• Family-Friendly Vibe: Enjoy a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere with a casual dress code.
