Join Green Card Voices, the Ukrainian American Community Center, and Alight for the launch of the Ukrainian Voices of Minnesota exhibit. This is a celebration of 22 powerful stories from Ukrainian immigrants and newcomers.
Made possible by the Legacy Fund of the Minnesota Humanities Center, the evening will feature:
- A delicious, culturally inspired dinner
- Story Stitch conversations
- A chance to explore the exhibit and meet some of the featured storytellers

✨ Event Schedule:
5:00 – 5:45 p.m. | Welcome, Exhibit Viewing & Ukrainian Dinner
Enjoy a Ukrainian dinner, explore the exhibit, and hear brief welcome remarks.
5:45 – 6:05 p.m. | Storyteller Reflections
Hear reflections from featured storytellers Yakov, Halyna, and Sofiia, with closing remarks by Richard Benton, GCV Board Co-Chair.
6:05 – 6:15 p.m. | Live Music Performance
A short performance by the Ukrainian Village Band.
6:15 – 7:00 p.m. | Story Stitch Circles
Participate in facilitated storytelling circles with Ukrainian newcomers and local community members.
7:00 – 8:00 p.m. | Live Music Finale & Celebration
Celebrate with a full set by the Ukrainian Village Band, dancing, and community gathering.
