Green Card Voices invites you to our inaugural Becoming Neighbors event which will be held on Tuesday, Sept 17, 2024 at the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis from 6:00 – 8:30 pm. 

Come join us as we shake the dust off the way galas are traditionally done, and instead,  celebrate the Green Card Voices way: bringing our communities together through STORYTELLING! 

• Play Story Stitch, an interactive card game to have a real dialogue with new people in an intimate circle of eight, including immigrants originally from 30+ countries.
• Enjoy a program that broadens your sense of community, stretches your empathy muscle, and builds awareness of the people you live, work and play with.
• Time for 250 people to come together and share a culturally-appropriate meal, connect in a new environment, savor new relationships – and become neighbors.
• Family friendly/casual/culturaldress code.
